What do you do ?

One of the questions that I am asked in my talks and the visits that I make at different colleges, is what is it exactly that this initiative of mine is doing. How am I making the difference in the lives of the children.

Well I motivate the kids.Now you may ask, motivate for what? Well motivate them on the value of education. On the need to continue their education to a basic level and not leave it in middle.

Now you may think that it is an easy task to just go to the schools and just yap around. But it is challenging when you fail to see any improvements in their lives immediately.

Amongst the other happy moments, one of the times when I feel it the most is when I am able to convince others to also be concerned about a social cause.

The place where I come from, has quite a few engineers and doctors. The people you see in the photograph, standing in front of the class are engineers from colleges like NITs, IITs and other engineering colleges.

My idea is that if each one of us takes little time out, when we visit the schools, the kids could gain so much. And trust me, it is such a great experience to see the school students interact with us. I have succeeded in motivating a few other guys like me, to go to these schools whenever they can, and just talk to the students.

So yes, one of the major part of this initiative is been to interact with the children and motivate them in whatever way possible. It is always challenging to answer to all of their questions but a start has to be made.
